Tonight our youngest asked, "If God is punishing me, why would He break my arm?" This prompted a very long and deep conversation. I thought I would share the question with the few that will read this in hopes that it will prompt the reader to ponder the depth and breadth of our God's Love, Wisdom, Power, Majesty...

I also just noticed the DH and DW caption.
Yea, we felt it was nice... and it keeps our names of the web.

Off no of.
What is my problem this morning... Keeps our names off the web. Wow. I'm glad this is a 3 day weekend.
As for the deep question, one book I've found chocked full of good dialogue is 'Letter From a Skeptic'. It has questions similar to this and more between an atheistic father and a seminary-trained son. Over the course of two years of letter writing the father came to accept the Lord. They then pieced together the trail of letters and published them unedited as a book. The table of contents is essentially a FAQ list of similar questions. I would recommend everyone have a copy on the shelf. I currently have mine loaned out to an atheistic friend of mine who seemed open to questions.
Thanks Bill, I have been meaning to ask you which book the pastor was billing... You have just reminded me. Thanks!
